Sam Querrey reveals there is one player that he “absolutely hates” and considers him “a tool.”

On the latest episode of the Nothing Major Show, Querrey, Jack Sock, Steve Johnson and John Isner discussed an interesting topic – unlikable players.

Querrey, a former world No. 11 who retired from professional tennis in 2022, shared that there was one player he didn’t like at all. However, the 38-year-old didn’t want to publicly reveal the name of the player.

“There’s one guy I like absolutely hate. But I can’t just say it right now, the guy’s still playing… He doesn’t necessarily know I hate him, but he’s a tool,” the 2017 Wimbledon semifinalist said on the Nothing Major Show.

Querrey: Practice stopped and we yelled at each other for several minutes

Although the American’s co-hosts wanted him to reveal the identity of the player, the former 10-time ATP champion refused to do so. But made another revelation instead.

“Practice totally stopped for us to yell at each other for like six minutes. I stayed. I never stay,” the former world No. 11 said.

Sock suggested that the player in question must have done something very wrong to make Querrey so annoyed.

“It takes a lot for Sam to get really, really perturbed,” Sock said.

Meanwhile, Johnson was willing to publicly reveal the names of players he didn’t like – former Croatian tennis star Ivo Karlovic and Lukas Rosol, who famously upset Rafael Nadal in the 2012 Wimbledon second round.

Johnson also funnily revealed how it felt to play doubles with Sock.

“If you somehow pissed Jack off on the doubles court, you were done. He was just going to take over the court,” Johnson said.

Sock agreed, saying: “It wasn’t the worst thing. I just used it as motivation. I’m not a big fan of Karlovic… or like Rosol back in the day. He was brutal,”
