Karen Khachanov doesn’t want to make any definitive predictions for the 2026 season but acknowledges that Iga Swiatek, Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner all “have a good chance” of completing a Career Grand Slam next year.

After winning this year’s Wimbledon, Swiatek improved to six Majors. The 24-year-old also has four French Open titles and one US Open main glory in her collection. She only lacks an Australian Open title to complete a Career Grand Slam.

In the men’s game, current world No. 1 Alcaraz has won three Majors multiple times – he has won twice the Australian Open, the French Open and Wimbledon. Just like Swiatek, the 22-year-old Spaniard only hasn’t had a triumphant run at the Australian Open. 

This past summer, Sinner also landed his first Wimbledon title. The French Open is the only Major tournament where he has yet to make it all the way. 

Khachanov asked if Swiatek, Alcaraz and Sinner will complete a Career Grand Slam in 2026

“Will they succeed? Listen, we’ll see. Time will tell. They have a good chance,” Khachanov told Championat. 

Recently, Alcaraz – who has never made it past the quarterfinal stage at the Australian Open – underlined that winning his first Australian Open title and completing a Career Grand Slam would be his first big goal for 2026.

“I think [the AO is] going to be great. It’s my first goal, to be honest. When I just go to the pre-seasons to what I want to improve, what I want to achieve, Australian Open is there. It’s the first or second tournament of the year, and it is always the main goal for me to complete a career Grand Slam. I just wanted to complete it. Obviously I’m going to try to do it next year, but if it is not next year, hopefully in two and three and four,” Alcaraz said.
